The Academia banner is overseeing four programs initiated by Ubisoft Montréal and its partners, including the Videogame Base Camp.
Experts from Ubisoft Montréal and Toon Boom Animation, will introduce students to the amazing world of video game production. The students taking part in this epic event will learn the principles governing the production of a video game by producing a board game.
Each team of student’s will have fun using and creating animation with Toon Boom Animation’s software. The Videogame Base Camp will develop participants’ leadership, creativity and logical thinking, key skills in the field of video games.
The winning team will see its game embellished and printed like a commercially available board game, and each member will receive a copy.
