Frost & Sullivan, the renowned business research and consulting firm awarded Toon Boom Animation the 2011 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Global Animation Software Entrepreneurial Company of the Year at a gala ceremony in March this year.
Shortly after the presentation, Toon Boom Animation President and Chief Executive Officer, Joan Vogelesang was interviewed by Mukul Krishna – Global Director, Frost & Sullivan.
During the interview Ms.Vogelesang is asked; how Toon Boom “.. has been able to rise above the noise and differentiate yourself and create Toon Boom into what it is?” Ms.Vogelesang answers by briefly explaining the history of Toon Boom and how the company has stayed at the forefront by developing new and emerging markets around the world. At the same time Toon Boom has produced a range of commercial animation products while continuing to maintain and improve it’s range of high-end industrial software used by the likes of Disney, Warner Bros and Fox. By doing this Toon Boom has developed expertise and technology to become the glue which binds the animation industry together.
