Toon Boom Animation, the worldwide leader in animation software solutions, is currently seeking an exceptional Email and Web Images Designer on a contract basis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create email blast
- Create web images
- Create online interactive activities
- Build, test, and blast emails using email management platforms, HTML/CSS editors, email service providers and common web browsers.
- Proceed with consistent and accurate incorporation of the Web Marketing Analyst’s requirements and follow email best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the Graphic Designer, Marketing department, Sales team, Web Marketing Analyst & Web Designer.
- Work on projects that involve HTML coding in addition to design work such as interactive online children activities
- Stay current on email design best practices. Constantly improve campaigns by developing and testing into increasingly effective vehicles and creative executions
- Digital archiving of all source and final files
- Accomplish all other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working as part of a creative team on web projects and email marketing
- Email and graphic design skills
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Illustrator
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, Jquery and Javascript
- Solid grasp of direct response advertising principles and CRM, both on-line and off-line.
- Advanced knowledge of interactive design tools
- Excellent knowledge of web image standards
- Working knowledge of animation and prototype tools (Adobe Flash) and content management systems for web publishing
- Strong computer skills in PC and Mac environment
- Experience with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc.
- Good written English and French
- Ability to speak both English and French
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and software
- Ability to work under pressure and respect tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and share constructive input
- iOS and Android programming knowledge is an asset
Work environment
Toon Boom is located in South-west Montreal in an old spinning mill, it’s sort of appropriate as our software is used to spin tales.
