Springtime is Manga time at Toon Boom in April! The hot property in Japan is Hungry Zombie Francesca and HeARTBIT Digital Creation, one of Japan’s promising animation studios has decided the best way to go in their next Francesca project is with Toon Boom.
On April 11th in Tokyo, Toon Boom signed a memorandum of understanding with HeARTBIT Digital Creation formalizing their intention to use the Toon Boom pipeline, Storyboard Pro™ and Harmony™, in their upcoming production titled Francesca.
The signing took place at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Steven Chu, Toon Boom’s Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Hitoshi Kumagai, HeARBIT’s Chief Executive Officer; His Excellency the Ambassador of Canada to Japan, Mackenzie Clugston; The Honourable Edward Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, and The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister for Industry.
