Judas Priest and Rob Halford do The Simpsons

Judas Priest, the UK’s legendary Heavy Metal band got centre stage treatment on The Simpsons on Sunday night. The plot of  “Steal This Episode”  hinged around Homer’s illegal downloading and public screening of movies. Judas Priest layed-down the metal from the back of a flatbed as Rob Halford’s screaming lead vocals parodied their classic hit single, Breaking the Law (British Steel -1980) as the FBI chased down Homer. The animation once again shows off the way in which the Toon Boom Animation pipeline is used in the production of The Simpsons. The Toon Boom pipeline consists on Harmony Network, Manager and Storyboard Pro.

Judas Priest are: Glenn Tipton – guitars, keyboards, synthesiser; Scott Travis – drums, percussion;
Rob Halford – vocals; Richie Faulkner – guitars;  Ian Hill – bass.
